 Another global tournament, another final! Unbeaten India has reached to final of the Champions Trophy by winning against Sri Lanka. Wining in four matches continuously. Today the team of Mahindra Sing Dhoni is going to fight against the host England in the exiting final match at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
Whoever will win the Champions Trophy, get the prize money of $2 million. It is the largest amount ever since the tournament`s beginning. This tournament is the 7th and final ICC Champions Trophy. In 2017 it will be replaced by the ICC World Test Championship.

Great form and the present history of face – to - face fighting of the two teams are keeping India ahead in the final. However, Dhoni is not thinking it as an easy task. According to the opinion of the captain of India, their team will have to give the hardest assessment against England.
In first Semi-final match, England won the toss, and then decided to field. South Africa scored 175 runs in 38.4 overs. David Miller scored 56 runs. James Tredwell (Eng) collected 3 wickets giving 19 runs in 7 overs. England won the match by 7 wickets playing only 37.3 overs . In the second semi – final match, India won the toss and they also decided to field. Rain caused some trouble in that match. That was delayed for some time. In that match, Sri Lanka scored 181 runs.They played full 50 overs. Angelo Mathews scored 51 in 89 bowls and I Sharma collected 3 wickets giving 33 runs. But India had not to play 50 overs. They played only 35 overs and reached the destination of 182 runs and won the match very easily by 8 wickets. Shikhar Dhawan scored 68 runs with 92 bowls and Lankan Angelo Mathews collected 1 wicket giving 10 runs. Player of the match was Ishant Sharma (India).India won the second semi-final at Cardiff by crushing the Lankan team. Using the cloudy sky, the bat of V Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan give a completion to the great bowling of three Indian pacers Umesh Yadab, Vubanesshor Kumar and Ishanta Sharma.

If the World Champion of 2011 get this trophy today, they will be able to integrated the number one place of ICC Ranking. The Indian team consisting the young players is developing in all section – batting, bowling and fielding.
